The GoodTrash Genrecast is our flagship orgin story show that started in Fall 2012 as a college project in the University of Central Oklahoma Film Society. The concept was simple: apply literary academic style analysis to films that won’t ever make it into a proper film studies course. Since its inception the show covered genre films from across the film geek spectrum with films like The Avengers, Die Hard, Ghostbusters, Stargate, Terminator 2, Ghost In A Shell, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and The Lego Movie. As the ambition for the show has grown, as has the show’s cast. Founded by Dustin Sells, Arthur Gordon, and Dalton Stuart, the team eventually added additional hosts, Alexandra Bohannon and Caleb Masters.
The GoodTrash Genrecast has aired more than 170 episodes and in 2016 we’ve been averaging more than 6200 downloads per month.
