Isolated with Alien3

For years, we had The Fincher Rule because Dalton brought up Fight Club any chance he got. So, it’s always a fun treat to be able to talk about a Fincher movie. And, since he’s only released one movie since we began this podcast, we thought it would be fun to discuss Alien3 to kickoff Part 3s, Chapter 2 during the week Mank releases.

Alien3 picks up following the events of Aliens. Ripley’s ship crashes onto a Prison planet inhabited by only men. Notorious for its troubled production, Alien3 was Fincher’s first feature film.

This week, we’re discussing religious communities in film. The movie’s attempt to tackle similar sexual themes as its predecessors. The studio process. And much, much more.

So tune in as we begin our month long journey through Threequels.
