Across the country, schools are getting back in session. And with that, summer is unofficially over. Which means, the Growing Up in Summer marathon must come to an end. And we decided to go with a Dalton and Arthur favorite, Charlie Bartlett. They both love it, but will Dustin hold it in the same regard?

In a twist, Dalton was unable to make it to this week’s show! But, he sent his thoughts in for our review and game.

Hi, I’m Charlie Bartlett

Charlie Bartlett

Hitting in 2008, and capitalizing off the success of Iron Man thanks to Robert Downey, Jr., Charlie Bartlett is a little indie comedy about a kid in over his head. After being kicked out of another boarding school, wealthy teenager Charlie (Anton Yelchin) is sent to public school. Here, he begins to climb the social ladder by opening a psychiatry clinic in the men’s room and pushing pills to his classmates. In doing so, he butts heads with the principal (Downey) and falls for his daughter, Susan (Kat Dennings).

On this week’s show, Dustin and Arthur do their best to move on without Dalton. They discuss the film’s take on class, parenting, psychiatry and more. And, with it being the last film in the marathon, we try our hardest to rank these films in what may be one of our most solid marathons ever.

The party is almost over, it’s time for us to head out.
