Getting Lost in Space (1998)

Based on the TV series of the 60s, Lost in Space followed in the wake of a series of classic TV show adaptations in the 90s. With a strong cast, headed by Gary Oldman, Matt LeBlanc, Mimi Rodgers and William Hurt, Lost in Space had a big budget and lot of potential. At some point though, the script, it all went wrong. The story is simple enough, a classic nuclear family plans to travel into space to with the goal of finding a new home for humans. Along the way, they are sabotaged and become…lost in space.

On episode 292, the weekly game is a discussion of 90s TV Series we want adapted to film. Arthur goes down a rabbit hole of obscure-to-the-boys TV series. After all of that goes down though, it’s business time. As the gang break open Lost in Space (1998), talks of family, technical prowess and more come up. Though the film is rough to watch, the gang finds a lot to say about it.

Hmmm… my iMap seems to be off. We’re going to go look for directions and see you back here next week!
