Host Wampus “Oklahoma Smart, Not Coastal Smart” Reynolds welcomes guest Derek Smith, Chicago comic, and they talk the shit out of the fourth joke of the Kindler set and talk lots more. Derek Smith, with his idiosyncratic delivery and style, has been a staple of the Chicago stand up scene for quite some time where he is a regular on nearly every stage in Chicago, including the Laugh Factory and Zanies, Derek has performed at the Just For Laughs satellite festival in Chicago and the prestigious Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland, Oregon. He is also a mainstay at the well-renowned Lincoln Lodge. He started his standup career in college in Oklahoma.

Wampus Reynolds is back in Oklahoma after a year in New Mexico. He’s a cheesemonger during the day and a tired cheesemonger at night. As a standup comedian, he had appeared at Blue Whale Comedy Festival and opened for Todd Barry and Josh Gondelman. He had a live talk show with diverse guests including politicians, sitcom stars and Oscar-nominated screenwriters.
